CBRE acquires Singapore-based sustainability advisory firm Paia Consulting
On August 1, CBRE revealed that it has recently gotten Paia Consulting, a Singapore-based sustainability consultatory firm. The acquisition is part of the New York Stock Exchange-listed worldwide property services company’s expansion of its sustainability consultatory company in Asia Pacific.
Moray Armstrong, handling supervisor of CBRE Singapore, states the arrival of Paia’s features will certainly place CBRE at the forefront of ESG advisory in Singapore and across Asia Pacific. “Our professionals will partner with customers on reporting, certification, compliance, benchmarking, building, and carrying out ESG strategies. CBRE will positively influence the built environment.”
In June, United Overseas Bank and Enterprise Singapore launched a sustainability advising programme for SMEs, in collaboration with Paia Consulting, CDP, Convene ESG, M1, PwC Singapore and TÜV SÜD.
Supporting the acquisition, the business will be relabelled Paia from CBRE, and the employee will be incorporated with CBRE’s existing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) consulting and sustainability services team. Johnson will be the lead professional under the joined organization, whilst Forcellati will be the new supervisor of customer sustainability approach and solutions.
In August 2023, Keppel employed Bennett Wong, previous primary consultant at Paia Consulting, to become its team sustainability senior administrator. Wong departed in July to join professional services firm RSM.

Carrie Johnson started off Paia Consulting and is its starting director. She has over 20 years of knowledge in sustainability strategy, reporting, and environmental concerns.
